The Queens

(Church of the Mediator, Harbert, Michigan) Following Metamorphis  Theatre’s bravura performance of Ken Brelsfoard’s drama, The Queens, which he based on the lives and deaths of Elizabeth I of England and Mary, Queen of Scots, two queens in their own right posed for a royal photograph.  They were, of course, Judith Joseph, who lost her head playing the ill-fated Queen of Scots, and the Scottish-American Queen Hannah McKelvy who kept her head about her while Mary was losing hers.  Brava!!! Brava!!!
