Is the sun rising, or is it setting? It’s all a matter of how we look at it.

We had a way of dealing this morning with the heinous hate crime that was committed in Orlando Saturday: we sat in fellowship and shared our fears, our anger, and our sense of outrage.  We couldn’t cope alone, and we didn’t. We agreed that we can’t solve the problem alone. And we didn’t. But we talked, and we hugged, and we sipped coffee together.  Whatever we did, we did for one another.  We sailed on. And we will keep sailing on, regardless what happens next.  But we will not do it alone. We will continue to be the “we” in the “we program.”  One day at a time.
