Travels with Charley: On The Chicago Road Again

(Coldwater, Michigan) We traveled a good portion of the old Chicago Road between Three Oaks and Coldwater over Labor Day Weekend. What a wonderful journey.

One more time with the bear. You have to drive the old Chicago Road to see such sights. And, I must say, the drivin's easy on the old Chicago Road, even with a couple of delightful detours.

Is the Old Chicago Road now US-12?

  2. I love seeing that awkward bear when I drive along US12. I grew up in Sturgis, so I have seen that road very much. I went to undergrad in Chicago, and would oftentimes drive the 2nd half of the trip coming home on US12 rather than on the toll-road because it was so beautiful.
