(Harbert, Michigan) My message for Election Day 2016 is quite simply this: It is never too late to see a golden sunset on the West Coast of Michigan. Case in point: I was riding up to the deck overlooking Lake Michigan at Cherry Beach on Sunday evening, when a departing fellow cheekily announced: “You’re too late. The sun set. You missed it.” I looked at the golden afterglow and said: “No, never too late.” So, America: never too late. And, consider this, the sun WILL rise tomorrow morning, and, yes, there WILL be a golden afterglow tomorrow evening.
