From Russia with Love

dsc08593(Chicago, Illinois) Surely you will go to the Windy City this holiday season to see all the lights and shop ’til you drop.  But whilst there, do spend some time at the Art Institute of Chicago to see a special exhibition that will be up in galleries 1-4 through January 10, 2017, titled: Humanism + Dynamite = The Soviet Photomontages of Aleksandr Zhitomirsky.  We visited this amazing exhibition twice, realizing, of course, that there were two sides to the so-called Cold War.  I’ll let you form your own opinion, but I do encourage you to include these images in your holiday tour of Chicago this season.  Oh, you can’t miss the Art Institute.  It’s that imposing structure at the foot of Adams on Michigan Avenue with the two wreathed lions guarding the entrance.
