(Harbert, Michigan) The sun made a rare appearance midday on Wednesday, so I went forth on Vinnie with my Canon PowerShot in the pack.  I struck pay dirt on Prairie Road just south of the tracks where the recent rains and melting snow have flooded the woodlots.  Then I found what I was looking for a few miles later on Lakeshore Road just after Brown Road.  All in a midday’s ride.  Enjoy:

Wood frogs were calling here last week but not today.

We are going to have a bumper crop of mosquitoes this year.

Chicago might have Lakeshore Drive, but we have Lakeshore Road.

I know this was a trifecta, but I couldn’t help but take this shot when I got home and collapsed on my deck chair. The sun disappeared for the day right after I took this. Figures.
