On the Trail Again

(Grand Junction, Michigan) We took our first ride on the Kal-Haven Trail in nearly two years on Tuesday. We parked the car at Grand Junction and rode east to Bloomingdale and back. What a grand way to celebrate our 30 years as Michiganders.

We found this native Prickly Pear Cactus just east of Grand Junction.

Looking east along the trail from the camel-back bridge. The Kal-Haven Trail extends east from South Haven to Kalamazoo on an abandoned railroad right-of-way.

Our favorite view from the trail. This is just west of Bloomingdale.

The fun couple at the turn-around point in Bloomingdale. They were smiling because there is no charge to ride the Kal-Haven Trail.
