How SWEEP it is!!!

(Guaranteed Rate Field, Chicago) The children’s crusade has begun!  Infused with youthful vitality, the Chicago White Sox have begun to bear the fruit of Rick Hahn’s labors in the baseball vineyard.  Yes, the last-place Sox just swept the first-place Astros.  Three games to zip.  Who knew?!?  Who expected it?!?  Well, we faithful Sox fans had an idea this was coming.  And we expect more of the same tonight when we watch the Sox take on their rivals from the AL Central, the Kansas City Royals.  Be true to your team, especially in a rebuilding year. Go Sox!!!

(Chicago, Illinois) How “sweep” it is! Say, what was the name of that team the Sox beat in the 2005 World Series?

Yoan Moncada took a base on balls in his first appearance at the plate in a White Sox uniform. He took the Sox to the promised land last night against the Astros. Can’t wait to watch him tonight against the Royals.

Be true to your team, even in a rebuilding year.

I was at the game last night with my son. Great game. Too bad we witnessed a shooting on the Ryan on our way home. Put a damper on our spirits.
