First and Last

(Harbert, Michigan) It goes without saying that Jacqui Jackson will always be first and last in our hearts.  She was with us from the fall of 2011 to the summer of 2018, but she will always live in our hearts because she put those pussy paws of hers all over us in her nearly seven years as our cat leader.  Yes, she was the leader, and we were but trusted servants charged with her love and affection.  Plus, the usual feeding, and tending to the litter box, and dead mouse removal, and such.  But such is our sorrow at her unexpected passing, that we feel compelled to continue offering tributes to her.  Today, the first two pictures we ever took of her, and the last two pictures we ever took of her:

Jacqui Jackson arrives at the McKelvy home in October 2011.

Jacqui settled right in.

The second-to-last picture of Jacqui Jackson, taken August 10, 2018.

Jacqui Jackson. Born 04/20/2009, died by coyote on 08/12/2018. Rest in Peace, Baby Cat.
