(KALAMAZOO, MICH)  We took in the West Michigan Area Show at Kalamazoo Institute of Arts last Saturday, and we thought it was one of the strongest shows they have put up in quite a while.  COVID restrictions applied, so we pretty well had KIA to ourselves for the show.  Here’s some of what we saw:

Hannah Apps was awarded third prize for her oil on panel, “Body and Blood.”

Our friend Jeanne Fields worked in mixed media to create “Finding Home.”

“All or Nothing” by Sebastian Sandu. This is oil on canvas.

Natalie studies Ladislav Hanka’s “Turtle Island Visited by Honeybees.”

“Knave at Rest” by Mike Slaski.

An honorable mention to KIA for hosting the West Michigan Area Show 2020.
